I have introduced a new Cello rental scheme, with the growing musician
in mind. More children give up playing because of poor quality instruments,
usually purchased from non-specialist music shops, than because of lack
of talent. Nothing is more important for a young musician than an instrument
that is the correct size, properly adjusted and set up to produce a good
sound from the outset. All my instruments are set up and adjusted to provide
this.

The pegs work smoothly and hold their place

Bridges are the right height and curve for little fingers

The top nut and fingerboard are adjusted

The soundpost is in the correct position

All instruments are fitted with adjusters on all four strings
Cello Rental Rates
Instruments are rented out for a minimum period of three months, at highly
competitive prices. Please note that set-up is not included in the RRP
of an instrument. Fees are collected monthly by Direct Debit.
