Workshop Instruments:

These are good quality hand finished instruments, covered with my own oil varnish in a new or antiqued finish. Each instrument is carefully adjusted with regard to the body, bass bar, sound post, neck, fingerboard and nut. The cellos are professionally set up. These are much superior to factory instruments. I usually have six available.

I am pleased to offer a wide range of Jay Haide instruments. Prices range from £1,500 to £2,500 dependent upon the quality of tonewood and style of varnish – antique finish (L’Ancienne) or straight. This price is for the instrument alone. The full size models available are: Stradivari, Gofriller, Ruggieri, with a Santus Seraphino 7/8 size model.
